Thank you to whoever gave the bag to Melanie who (thank you Melanie) gave it to Olga who gave it to me.
Not only did we have fun but I have lots of very good use for the fabric – recycling isn’t only green its fun.One of the wonderful things about the world of textiles annd art is the sharing between friends and artists. Today my friend and fellow quilter Olga Walters brought over a bag stuffed with silk remnants. She knows I love starting with white silk and then painting and printing on it.
Just like BIG kids we tore open the bag and if fabric could explode this lot did – maybe it had a just little help.
